Some people ave been asking whether it works with Windows7 Home Edition. I doubt it, as Microsoft seems to have disabled some of the related critical functionality in Home Edition. I have never seen Oracle certify a product on any Home Edition - doesn't mean it doesn't work, but expect some challenges.

From the documentation at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17781_01/index.htm

Operating system

One of the following Microsoft Windows operating systems:

Microsoft Windows XP Professional

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 - all editions

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 - all editions

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 - Standard, Enterprise, Datacenter, Web, and Foundation editions. The Server Core option is not supported.

Microsoft Windows 7 - Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate editions
